Get a Cost Estimate

String Sprouts accepts students through a sliding scale tuition model. The amount a family pays is based on their total household income and household size. Included in the cost is tuition, an instrument, and all the learning materials your Sprout will need! As always, qualifying families can participate in String Sprouts at absolutely no cost, instrument included.

Sliding Scale

Because String Sprouts is funded through philanthropy, we follow guidelines that consider the size of a household as well as its income when determining how much financial assistance the family will receive.

Time Commitment

We are so happy you are interested in enrolling in String Sprouts! Growing a young musician takes time and practice. Before you apply, make sure you can:

  • Attend a one-hour class with your Sprout once per week.
  • Dedicate at least 10 minutes per day to practicing with your Sprout.
Age Requirements

New applicants for String Sprouts should be aged 3-6 years. Kids with birth dates between April 1, 2018, and April 1, 2021, are eligible to enroll in Level 1 for fall 2024.
